Grace took this picture this morning.  She was snuggling with Lydia this morning in the chair and Lydia fell asleep in her arms.  She woke up sick this morning, along with Sophia and Emily.  Anyway, it was time for Grace to get up and when she snuck out of the chair and blankets, this is how she snuggled Lydia in.  I was surprised that she stayed asleep.  But she did and she is feeling much better this evening.  The other two, not so much.  But hopefully tomorrow will be better.

This is our dog, Dolly. We got her when Sophia was just a baby. Dolly was a year and a half. She has been such a great dog. She listens pretty good, well most of the time. She was actually better trained when we got her than she is now after living with us all this time. But she is great with the kids. She comes in and sleeps in the laundry room since we moved to our new place. If we leave her out she barks all night long. But in the evening when she is in the laundry room, Lydia just loves to go sit on her. She straddles her like a horse and bounces up and down, up and down. It is so cute. Dolly just lays there so sweetly. I just wanted to share a picture of her tonight...well, she is the only one awake for me to take a picture of...

Seriously, I'm tired. I have three pictures to choose from today and this is the top pick. Not sure why I am doing this since I still haven't read anything on how to actually use my new camera. But, I will continue on with this project if only to support my friends in their (much better) effort. Although I do have to say that it appears I am the only one posting pictures lately. I know where LIG, Jr. is. But, LIG, where are you??

I just love the pink in this picture for some reason. Maybe it's the cute little girl behind the cup that makes it so extra special! She told me that was her cake in the cup and she didn't want to spill it, but she did have to pour some of it out.

The kids watched part of a movie before bed again and Lydia decided to join in for a few minutes tonight. Of course she was snuggled up right next to Jeff. I think he is actually getting used to her now and kind of likes the fact that she thinks he's the best thing ever!

I realized I missed a day. I'm not sure how that happened. I'm not even positive I took this picture on the 19th. But it was the only picture left on my camera in between the pic posted the day before and the day after. Did you know you can change the post date on your blogger posts? I didn't either until today (actually the 26th!), but it is a good thing or my blog order would be all messed up! Anyway, this is Lydia sitting on our very nice and patient dog, Dolly. She was actually bouncing up and down on her and Dolly just lays there and endures it. She does love Dolly, though. She even brings her bear blanket in and gives to Dolly sometimes. It's funny to think that Sophia, Allison, and Grace don't know life without Dolly. It's actually pretty cool.

The look...this was my final picture of Lydia tonight because of that look. It was the "Really, mom? Another picture? I'll give you a half smile I suppose."

The cake...oh the cake! Doesn't it look absolutely amazing!? Let me tell you, it tasted even better than it looked! Can you imagine? Brandy picked up this little treat in Bismarck just for Lydia's 2nd birthday. I'm thinking that her being at Lydia's birth and being her Godmother has put Lydia in a pretty special place in Brandy's heart.

With today being both Valentine's Day and Lydia's birthday, I have a ton of pictures! But Lydia wins today since it's her birthday. I instantly fell in love with this picture when I brought it up on my computer tonight. So I have many pictures from today, but this one of her with a couple of her new gifts is by far my favorite.

I was in our local Bible book store today looking for a birthday present for Lydia when I came across this basket. It was love at first sight. I just knew I had to have it. I almost talked myself out of it though, knowing I don't need to be spending money on unnecessary items right now. But when I knelt down to look at it closer, I saw that it was made by a woman in Ghana, West Africa. There is a group there that helps women learn how to weave these baskets to be sold so they can make some money to support themselves. How could I not buy it! What a great idea. Just reading about this group and seeing a picture of the women working on their baskets is so cool. What a unique item to have.

Doesn't she look so very tired? It is bedtime and all her sisters are sleeping. Even Josh and I are hitting the sack as soon as I finish this post. But poor Allison must have slept a little too long at naptime today. She doesn't look like she is going to fall asleep any time soon. I hope she does though or tomorrow could be a very long day with her!

Once again, one of the girls' pictures is the post for today. I guess the girls were dancing around to music and having a good time this afternoon while Josh and I were in town. Emily took this picture of Grace and Sophia dancing. It beat out any of the pictures I took today!

Emily took this picture this morning of Allison and Lydia. They were taking turns wearing Sophia's cowboy boots and holding hands walking around the house. I just love when they get along and it is especially fun now to watch Lydia playing along with her sisters.
